Watch the trailer for 'Hansel and Gretel Witch Hunters'

Watch the trailer for 'Hansel and Gretel Witch Hunters'

The official trailer for “Hansel and Gretel Witch Hunters,” the latest film to serve Hollywood’s infatuation with dark, twisted fairytales, recently hit the Web.

Acting as a sequel of sorts to the well-known version recorded by the Brothers Grimm, Jeremy Renner and Gemma Arterton’s Hansel and Gretel are all grown up.
After taking near-fateful bites out of a gingerbread house when they were young, the pair became bounty hunters dedicated to ridding the world of witches.
From the looks of the trailer, it’s unclear where the story picks up, and if such a sugary home even exists in writer-director Tommy Wirkola’s action flick. It is clear, however, that there will be plenty of blood.
“Most people say witches aren’t real,” Renner’s Hansel muses during the trailer. “The stuff of fairytales. Then one day they show up at your door for your kids. That’s where we come in.”
“Hansel and Gretel Witch Hunters” is due out on January 25, 2013.
What do you think of the trailer? Warning, it gets a little graphic if you aren't into exploding bodies and such.
