Recipients of 2012 National Honours Stranded in Abuja as FG Fails to Provide Accommodation, Flight Tickets

Awardees of the 2012 National Honours, Sunday, were stranded in the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja, following the failure of the Federal Government to provide them with accommodation as it has been the norm. The Punch newspaper reported that some of the recipients of the honours which are expected to be conferred on them today (Monday), got to Abuja to discovered that the government has not made provisions for their flight tickets.
