Rwanda vows to shock Nigeria

The Amavubi of Rwanda yesterday arrived Nigeria confident to record three points despite not scoring goals of late. Having held Keshi's new look Eagles to a barren draw in their initial encounter, they now have injured Elias Uzamukunda back.  With him as the arrow head of their attack, they think they can breach the Nigeria’s back.

Yesterday, they were heading  to Calabar and the Channel View Hotel to continue their preparations for the table topping West Africans. Coach Milutin 'Micho' Sredojovic was especially optimistic despite not securing points against Benin whom he thought they could played.
He said all the pressure was on Nigeria:  “We are going to continue preparing for Nigeria the same way we have been doing in the last couple of weeks. They (Nigeria) will be under more pressure than us, and I think this will be a big motivation for us to go out there and play for a win without any pressure.

“When a team has almost won a game and loses in the last seconds, owing  to a mistake such as they did against Malawi, it can be devastating and hopefully it will remain with them physcologically”, he further added coyly.

Should the Wasps overcome the Supers Eagles, they will now advance to the third qualifying round that brings together qualifiers from the second round and the 16 teams that competed at the Africa Nations Cup finals held in Gabon and Equatorial Guinea early this year.
